Privacy policy.
The scanner asks four AI models about an organisation. This sets out what that involves for your data, in the order it happens.

What this covers
This applies to the scanner and the pages around it. It is written to be read once, so it is short.

What you give us
To run a scan: an organisation name, its website address, and optionally the country it operates in. Those are about a company, not about you.
Only if you ask for the full report: your email address. Nothing before that point asks who you are.

What we record on our side
Every scan is logged with the request that produced it: the IP address it came from, the browser's user agent string, the page that referred you, and the country your IP resolves to.
That log exists to stop one person from consuming the whole day's capacity, and to tell a genuine request apart from an automated one. It is not used to build a profile of you.

Who else sees it
The organisation name and website are sent to the providers of the AI models we query, because that is the question being asked. Your email address is never sent to them.
If you request the full report, your email address and the summary of your scan are passed to SecondSideMedia, the partner who produces that report and the work that follows from it.

How long it is kept
A finished scan is cached for 30 days so that running the same one again does not repeat the work or the cost.
The scan log and any report request are kept until we delete them, because a request that expired on its own would be a person left without an answer. Rate-limit counters expire the following day.

Your browser
One entry is stored in your browser to remember whether you chose the light or dark theme. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it. There are no advertising or analytics cookies to consent to.

Asking for a copy or a deletion
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to us through the contact page and say which company or email address the request concerns.
A request to delete is carried out on our side. It does not reach the AI models, which we neither control nor have access to.

If this changes, the revised version replaces this one on this page.
